Ryan is a Mechanical Engineer with 15 years of experience in forensic investigations of vehicle and structure losses. Ryan specializes in investigating vehicle fires, equipment fires, mechanical failures, vehicle fraud claims, and structure fires. Ryan has built a reputation for providing reliable opinions because of his meticulous, detail-oriented approach. Ryan is an Executive Director and former President of Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI) South Central Ontario Chapter and member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), and International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). Ryan has instructed on fire investigation for CAFI and IAAI.

Ryan specializes in fire investigation and mechanical failure investigation of passenger cars, trucks, machinery, farm equipment, and construction equipment for the insurance industry, manufacturers, and other stakeholders. With over 15 years of investigation experience, Ryan has investigated everything from supercars to harvesters. Having investigated hundreds of structure fires, Ryan is also able to analyze fires involving both vehicles and structures to determine the fire origin and cause.
